Jammu, Nov 4: To pitch voice over their demand of granting ST Status, Jammu and Kashmir Pahari Peoples Movement (JKPPM) has extended full support one day state level token protest call given by J&K Pahari Cultural and Welfare Forum at all tehsil headquarters. As per press release, JKPPM has appealed Pahari people belonging to all the political parties to remain united and fight jointly above all personal liking un- liking and party politics. They were demanding grant of ST status, Pahari Action Committee, Pahari youth Organisation, and Pahari Student have also extended their full support to Nov 5, protest Dharna Call Given by J&K Pahari Cultural & Welfare Forum, on all the State Head Quarter.
As per the announcement made by Mohd Azam Sagar and Vijay Kochhar, Provincial president and Provincial General Secretary the Chairman of the Forum in a recent delegate session at Surnkote under the chairmanship of MA Bukhari Chairman of the forum has decided to launch State level mass movement in support of their demands.
They said leaders will present memorandum to concern Tehsildars and DDCs' and in second phase of the protest will be announced on the end of the day. |
