| Illicit liquor recovered | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Nov 4: Police seized 36 pouches and 15 bottles of illicit liquor from matador stand Udhampur.
During the surprise checking of a suspicious persons near Matador Stand Udhampur near Town Hall today a police party of Udhampur police led by I/C district special branch Udhampur ASI Madan Lal conducted thorough search of one suspicious person namely Bansi Lal s/o Mast Ram r/o Badhota Lander Panchari tehsil and district Udhampur. During thorough search, 36 pouches 250/250 ML and 15 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of above named person who was transporting them to his native village i.e Badhota Lander Panchari.
Police party seized the liquor and arrested the accused person. In this connection, a case FIR No. 348/2013 U/S 48A Ex. Act stands registered at police station Udhampur and further investigation of the case is going on. |
