JAMMU, Nov 4: Swankha Club shall be playing against Jakh Club in the final of the Samba District Open Volleyball Tournament underway at Government Higher Secondary School, ground, Jakh in district Samba, here tomorrow.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Swankha Club defeated Volleyball Club Dabuj in straight but close sets 25-23, 25-20. In other semifinal of the day, Jakh Club trounced Channi Club, Thandi Khui 2-1 (25-22, 19-25, 15-10).
In all, eight teams turned up for the competition which is being organised by Jakh Volleyball Club under the aegis of Volleyball Association of J&K.
"The final of the tournament between Swankha Club and Jakh Club shall take place at 2 pm at the School ground tomorrow," organising secretary of the tournament, Balwinder Singh Jamwal. |
