EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 24: History has been created by Jammu & Kashmir state which was usually rated as a laggard in IT reforms vis-à-vis other states of the country by winning nationally and internationally recognized maiden CSI-Nihilent IT Award for 'Conceptualization, Creation and Launch of first official website of a Sub-Division -www.dudub asantg arh.gov.in' . This website was created and launched under the strenuous efforts and guidance of then SDM Amit Sharma, a senior KAS officer, in the month of November 2011, who is, at present, undergoing a deputation of one-year post graduate programme in e-Governance at IIM, Indore, which is a super-specialization in the field of IT reformation. It is another co-incidence that J&K Government has taken this maiden initiative to promote the talent and sharpen the IT-skills of officers like Amit Sharma at top-repute institutes of the likes of IIMs and IITs wherein he got this rare opportunity to highlight this IT-initiative of state, which finally ended up in bringing laurels in the form of this Award to the state of Jammu & Kashmir. |
