Jammu, Nov 24: As state unit of BJP is gearing up fast for making the ensuing Lalkar rally a grand success, the workers in the field are facing a problem created from within the people in the party.
They are not committed cadres or leaders who have evolved themselves in BJP instead those who have joined BJP after quitting from other parties on their own or after having been thrown out from their erstwhile parties upon which they came into BJP fold. These leaders who have been entrusted some posts are said to be working their own style and way rather than following instructions from central leadership in making preparations and adhering to the procedural guidelines for rally to be addressed by the party's Prime Ministerial candidate Narender Modi.
Sources said while the entire hierarchy of BJP is these days over busy in giving final shape to the preparations which makes a huge task of distributing publicity material , holding series of meetings and making a fervent appeal to public to attend the rally through various modes, there are few leaders who have come from other parties who are becoming a cause of embarrassment for the committed cadres on the ground level. They are working in their self styled manner which is quite different to what BJP has while going ahead with preparations of a political function of such a grand scale, said. These leaders, particularly from NC who have joined the BJP enjoy the patronage of the leadership, some senior leaders which is why their self styled actions do not get stopped nor do they fear of any action from the top level, said the sources.
Sources also said while they are going in different directions to what generla guidleines suggest, committed party leaders are apprehensive that this might be their deliberate strategy to cause harm in some ways to the momentum of preparations, which might eventually affect the rally. Sources also say that these functionaries who have joined the ranks of BJP after coming from other parties, NC in particular are also being seen doing so in order to cause some sort of wedge between the senior leaders of the party at the higher level by trying to create friction on even small, petty matters.
