SRINAGAR, Nov 24: All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has paid tributes to Guru Tegh Bahadur on his martyrdom observed across the Gurdwaras of the state on Sunday. Sikhs went to Gurudwaras to pay rich tributes to Guru Tegh Bahadur. In a statement, APSCC Chairman, Jagmohan Singh Rain said that Guru Tegh Bahadur sacrificed his life for the sake of Kashmiri Brahmins at Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Jagmohan while paying tributes to Guru Tegh Bahadur urged that people should have same zeal to protect all religions and respect them at all levels. "Guru Ji who gave his life for Kashmiri Brahmins has been forgotten by Brahmins.
It is high time that Brahmins should tell their children about the supreme sacrifice made by Guru Ji during the injustice and forceful conversion by the then Mughal ruler," said Jagmohan. He said the sacrifice was for humanity and against injustice to Kashmiri Brahmins.
