| BSF School celebrates NCC day | | | ET Report
JAMMU, Nov 30: National Cadet Corps (NCC) Day was celebrated in BSF School with fervour and gaiety.NCC has completed 10 successful years in BSF School. Dr. S.S.Khokhar, Principal of the school was chief guest on the occasion. Function started with the Guard of Honour to welcome the Chief Guest. Dr. Vinod Kumar AD (Medical) BSF and Dr. Soumaiya also graced the occasion. Dr. Soumaiya gave a lecture on balance diet and nutrition.
ANO Veerji Pandita presented the welcome address and briefed the audience about the achievements of NCC activities during the session. Drill demo, Speech on history of NCC, Rescue Operation, First Aid training, spell-bound song performances and other skills of bravery, patriotism and defence were the part of the programme. These activities infuse a spirit of unity and discipline.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. S.S.Khokhar said that discipline is not a small occasional outburst of emotions; it is the silent dedication of an entire lifetime. He appreciated the cadets encouraging them to groom themselves to become future leaders of the country.
Programme concluded with the presentation of medals and certificates to cadets by the Chief Guest. |
