1200 grams charas recovered, one arrested 11/30/2013 10:36:06 PM ET Report Udhampur, Nov 30: Police claimed to have arrested one necrotic and recovered 1 kg 200 grams of Charas from his procession at Jakhani, Udhampur. As per police reports, the consignment was being transported from Kashmir to Jammu. SSP Udhampur, Anil Magotra said during the frequent checking of vehicles at National Highway near Jakhani, a Police Party of Police station Udhampur headed by Inspector Deepak Jasrotia, SHO Police Station, Udhampur intercepted one passenger vehicle and subjected it to thorough search. During search of the vehicle, 1 Kg 200 gm Charas was recovered from the possession of one narcotic smuggler namely Shamas Din son of Abdul Aziz resident of Chaba Tehsil Ramban who was arrested on the spot and the consignment seized.
