| Over 3000 Modi supporters arrive from Doda, Kishtwar Asif Iqbal Naik | | | Jammu Nov 30: Over three thousand Modi supporters including 300 Muslims arrived at Jammu on Saturday evening to participate in BJP’s “Lalkar Rally” to be addressed by BJP’s Prime Ministerial Candidate Narider Modi tomorrow at MAM Stadium Jammu. Majority of the party leaders and workers assembled at various locations like Padder, Chatroo, Nagsina, Drabshala, Doda, Marmat, Thatri, Bhalesa and other parts of Doda and Kishtwar District started its journey in the form of fleet of over 100 vehicles led by BJP leader Shakti Parihar from Doda and Sunil Sharma. The surprising part of the rally which arrived from Doda and Kishtwar District is the presence of people hailing from Muslim community. The majority among the Muslims who arrived at Jammu to take part in Modi’s rally comes from Bhalesa area of Doda district. Local BJP leaders termed the presence of huge number of Muslim people participation in Modi rally as change and impact of Modi wave. They feel that with the passage of time more and more people from Muslim community will join BJP. They claim that over 5000 people from Kashmir has also arrived at Jammu to take part in the rally. They said that in addition to 3000 Modi supporters who arrived at Jammu today, over 2000 people from Kishtwar and Doda has arrived at Jammu in advance. Enroute to Jammu, elaborated security arrangements were put in place. |
