Ramkote, Nov 30: Maharudra Abhishek Mahayagya being performed at Ramkote in Tehsil Billawar of District Kathua concluded amid religious and spiritual enthusiasm here today. Another similar yagya will be held at Ramkote very soon.
According to reports, atleast twenty thousand devotees from within and outside district participated in this Mahayagya which commenced on Nov 20, under the supervision of Bal Yogeshwar Swami Shree Goutam Ji Maharaj (Sanvre) who also delivered religious sermons during the eleven day spirituality. "251 devotees performed 51000 aahutis, for peace and prosperity in state, reports said, adding, "beside this a Jankhi procession too was organized on daily basis by artists from Jammu.
Ramkot Maharudra Abheshek Mahayagya Committee has extended thanks to administration and Police for cooperating making smooth conduct of Yagya possible.
Smt Kanta Andotra Ex. MLA Basohli, Satish Sharma Sr BJP Leader and Deep Raj Kanathia SDM Billawar also spoke during this occasion. A Kalsh Visarjan will be on Monday 2 Dec 2013 at historical Babli at Khoon Village and thereafter at yagya will be held at Ramkote. |
