Can AAP afford to take disgruntled politicians in its ranks?
1/1/2014 10:10:01 PM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 1: After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) made speculator gains in Delhi elections wiping the Congress Party entirely, the disgruntled politicians in J&K are trying their best to seek refuge in the newly formed Party and contest forthcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the State on its ticket.
According to sources after AAP has sent feelers to accommodate candidates from various parties who are likely to be denied tickets. The feelers, sources said have relieved political workers who do not expect a fair deal from their respective parties. They are likely to join the AAP.
The AAP feelers, sources said are likely to be used as a blackmail tool by political activists. The political experts will force the traditional parties to do some serious thinking before nominating candidates.
Moreover, as AAP has no organisational base in other States of country as well as J&K these disgruntled politicians can do some home work for the AAP.
However, the political experts have a word of caution for the AAP. According to them, the AAP cannot afford to include every Tom, Dick and Hary in its ranks.
