Jammu, Jan 1: J&K Teachers Welfare Association (JKTWA) has demanded the release of much-delayed DA installment of 10 percent due from July last on the eve of New Year as a new year gift to its employees. J&K Teacher's Welfare Association (JKTWA) State President, Jasmeet Singh Madaan in a press statement has stated the announcement of DA installment was expected near Diwali or Idd festivals, but somehow it got delayed and they were expecting it now on New Year and urged Chief Minister to announce it immediately. He also raised demands like to enhance in the honararium of Mid Day Meal Cook, early construction of Teachers bhawan in each district, allocation of space for Teacher's Club, housing colony for Teacher's community etc. |
