| Extraction of Sapphire from Padder mines to start soon: Kichloo | | | Kishtwar, Jan 1: Minister of State for Industries and Commerce (Independent Charge) Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo said that the global tenders for extraction of Sapphire from famous Sapphire mines of Padder Tehsil in Kishtwar District have already been floated adding that the extraction of the Sapphire from these mines will star shortly. While addressing the gathering of eminent personalities, Buddhist scholars and students at Jammu in a function organized by Buddhist Youth Association Padder to celebrate Losar, Kichloo said that peace is imperative for the development and growth of a society adding that the religions preach peace, communal harmony and brotherhood. He said that all those people who follow the religious practices in their lives in one way other do not support the agenda of those people who promote hatred and violence among the people. He said that the people of state are pure secular and have always rejected fanatism and communism. Kichloo said that with start of work on extraction of Sapphire from Sapphire mines will give job opportunities to the local inhabitants of Padder. He said that Omar lead coalition government is committed for the overall development of backward areas of the state including Padder. He said that necessary steps have already been initiated by the government to expedite the pace of construction work on 32 KM Gulabgard-Machail road and added that all the hiccups coming in the way of construction of this prestigious road project has been removed. |
