| Jora, Kichloo launch 24x7 Help-Line, Online grievance redressal cell in JMC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 11 : Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Nawang Rigzin Jora and the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Industries and Commerce Sajad Ahmed Kichloo today jointly launched 24x7 Municipal Help Line and Online grievance redressal cell at Jammu Municipal Corporation. The Help Line has toll-free Number 18001803333 and will be a big leap forward towards complaint management system. It will help in immediate redressal of grievances with regard to engineering, building, enforcement, health, sanitation, veterinary and general services. Secretary, Housing and Urban development, Satish Nehru, Commissioner JMC, Kiran Wattal, Joint Commissioner JMC, Kapil Sharma, Financial Advisor Omar Khan and concerned officers were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Jora said that the helpline will be based on latest technology using IT enabled services so that the system is workable round the clock with minimum human interference and optimal results in terms of delivery of services. Kichloo said that launching of Helpline service for the people of Jammu had become all the more necessary in view of its many folds increase in population which has increase to about 12 lakh. |
