| Book Review: Literary Circle | | | Manoj Singh | 1/29/2014 8:10:34 PM |
| A new genre of writers came to Genre these days. This genre is of management graduates, civil servants, medicos and from vivid professions, who choose the writing as a passion but now not a novice in literary circle. One such name is of Manoj Singh, whose book 'Eternal Bonds' has created ripples in literary circle. Manoj Singh emerged as an eminent writer of wider sensitivity in a short span of his literary career. Manoj Singh has seven classic literary publications in its kitty, which has won rave reviews. This is by no means a meager achievement for Manoj Singh, an ITS officer of 1986 UPSC batch presently the Director General Telecom, Ministery of telecom, Jammu and Kashmir . Born at Agra Manoj is holding a BE (Electronics) from REC Bhopal and an MBA degree later. Striking an amiable balance between his passion of sculpting verses and professional commitments Manoj has been successfully translating his mundane feelings experienced in adolescent age and his matured thoughts observed during his formative years. Manoj Shared some of his experiences with Latest What makes you to start writing ? It all started during my stay in Himachal, when I was serving in Himachal. Blessed with panoramic beauty of Himalayas I penned down long epic poetic classic " Chandrikotasav " ( Celebration of the beauty of Moon and Moonlit nights) as my first literary creation. I always relish the cool moon rays while in face to face with Moon in Solan.. My life and literary partner, Smt. Rekha Singh was my another inspiration. Wld you please tell us about novel Eternal Bonds Eternal Bond is an english Translation of 'Bandhan'. Bandhan was published in 2010. Loved by many people it was later translated in English, Punjabi, Tamil and Bengali. It is a story of a suffering of a family with patient of Schizophrenia. The content of my novels is not pure fiction but built on the hard heart felt realities of life. In Eternal Bonds, the story touches and enters in delicate realms of family, Society, College fraternity etc. in relation with patients suffering from Schizophrenia which has been widely noticed and appreciated. To make it more realistic I have actually visited mental hospital and observed the sufferings very closely and felt the pain of it. which has come out in his novel. What makes this novel popular? Though it is a fiction but it was not a mere creation of fiction, infact inspired by the happenings around us. It is a story with tragic end. To write this novel I studied widely about the medical science and life of the medicos as the story revolves around the Medical student and his life journey. " there is very thin line between fiction and reality", as fiction is one our mind creates and our mind always creates the story which we feel and experience around us. Human feelings and emotions are at centre stage, hence It automatically connects with the reader. Most of the people who read this novel often calls me and tells that the story touched our heart and seems of somebody known to us. |
