early times report Jammu, Jan 29: J&K NCP today hailed party president Sharad Pawar's unopposed election to Rajya Sabha. According to press release, a meeting of state unit of NCP was held under the Chairmanship Thakur Randhir Singh. Speaking on the occasion Singh said that President NCP Sharad Pawar, Union Agriculture Minister who was elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra State Assembly completed 73 years on 12th December 2013. The J&K NCP is proud of their National president who has served Loksabha uninterrupted for 7 times from Baramati and today entered Rajya Sabha unopposed alongwith Majid Memon, National Secretary NCP who is one of the leading criminal Lawyer of the country. Singh described Sharad Pawar one of the most successful administrator, four time Chief minister of Maharshtra , successful Defence Minister and Agriculture Minister. Singh further said Pawar enjoy the confidence of youth, farmers, working class, women and minorities. The meeting was attended by Kamal Gupta, Satpal Sharma, Bansi Lal Sodhi, R S Billowaria, Gourav Kapoor, Tariq Nar, R C Bali, Shahnawaz Mirza, Manu Mahajan, Arun Kapoor, Mohd Ashraf Malik, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Mohd, Shafi Bhat, Manik Uppal and Lovely Sharma.
