Kargil, Jan 29: The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Kargil Unit today organised a massive protest rally here against LADHC Kargil and Congress at Centre.
The main issues for organising the protest rally were power crices, unavaliablity of Ration, delay in AN 32 Courier Service and the recent remark made by CEC Kargil on the eve of Republic Day in his Speech. The protest rally was started from BJP's District Unit office Poyen passes through main bazar and concluded at Lal Chowk. Thousands of protestors holding the flag of BJP were seems, shouting slogans against LAHDC and UPA Govt. for their failure in provding basic needs to the people.
The BJP's State Executive Member and Regional Vice President Ladakh, Mohmad Subhan Jaffary was leading the protest rally. While addressing the rally at Lal Chowk, Mohmad Subhan Jaffary accused the LAHDC Kargil for shortage of Food Supplies at the Ration stores of the district, irregular power cut offs, Non-functioning and delay in AN32 Courier Service. Blaming on the Centre govt, he said the Congress govt at all front whether it be at National level ar it be at District level always discriminated with the people of Kargil. And the discrimination will end with the New government at National level under the leadership of Narender Modi as PM of India. Quoting Modi's remark on Kargil during Lalkaar rally in Jammu last year at MA Stadium, he said "Modi ji is well aware of the problems being faced by the people of Kargil".
Criticizing the speech of CEC Kargil, Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai on the eve of Republic Day regarding the acheiveiment of present council, he said that its known to the general public of Kargil district that Construction of 200 bedded hospital and ANMT school, International Ice Hockey ring and Indoor Stadium, Construction of Youth Hostel, Upgradation and macadamization of New Bus stand and many more projects costing crore of rupees were already sanctioned to our district during the tenure of X-CEC, Kacho Ahamd Ali Khan. But unfortunately Kalabai is taking the credit to gain vote in the upcoming LS and Assembly election by misleading the people, Jaffary added.
District President BPJ Unit Kargil Haji Mohd Khudam, President Mahila Morcha Leela Bee, General Secretary Mohd Ali Majaz and other speaker also spoke on the occasion.
