early times report Jammu, Jan 29 (JNF): In the much publicized Public Interest Litigation regarding cheating of people to the tune of Rs 50 crores by Dutta Finance Pvt Ltd and ors, the depositors filed an application before the High Court seeking attachment of property of all the Directors of finance company in India, Nepal & USA. Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today after hearing Senior Adv SS Lehar with Adv Meharban Singh for the petitioner and Senior AAG Gagan Basotra for the state observed that the earlier orders passed by the Division bench have not complied with by filling the status report with regard to investigation done by Crime Branch. Upon this Senior AAG Gagan Basotra seeking some further time to do the needful. Division Bench after hearing submission of Senior AAG Gagan Basotra directed that crime branch file status report within two weeks if the status report may not be filed within two weeks then SSP Crime Branch Jammu shall remain present in person on the next date of hearing. According to the application seeking attachment of the property of Gurbuchan Singh and Harpal Singh including the immovable property, 40 Kanals of land at Kud with three number houses created in it, 15 Kanals of land Jhajjar Kotli, 25 Kanals of peddy land at RS Pura, 100 Kanals of Land at Vijaypur, 20 petrol tankers running Jammu-Srinagar-Leh, 30 Petrol Tanker at Nepal, 15 buses at Nepal, one house and three residential plot at Birganj Nepal and other business in the Jammu. Property of Director Gurdeep Singh including the transport Nagar Narwal, 8 Kanals plot at National Highway Narwal chowk costing Rs 10 crores, Godwans at Transport nagar Narwal, Gas Tanker/Petrol Tanker under Kashmir/ Kranti Roadlines valued Rs 6 crores and two petrol pump at Houston USA costing about Rs 30 crores and seeking attachment of property. |
