| Shemrock International celebrates Annual Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 23: Shemrock International School today celebrated its Annual day where Member Parliament (MP) Madan Lal Sharma was present as Chief Guest. Function started with Lightening of lamp by Chief Guest, Madan Lal Sharma (MP). Later on, school premises echoed with "Saraswati Vandana" by the students. As Annual function holds theme "Vibrant Culture of Jammu & Kashmir", students presented- Cultural Item which shows India's Unity in Diversity. Program started with Saraswati Vandana. Tiny Tots of the school presented Fashion Show in a glamourous manner and gathered praises from audience. Later on children of different classes danced on various regional songs, praising their motherland especially depicted the vibrant culture of J&K State. Parents highly applauded the students for this diverse culture item presented on the stage. Some Karate items was presented by students with great energy which enthrilled the whole school premises. Prizes were distributed among the students for various achievements throughout the year. Chief Guest in his address praised the "Shemrock" for giving such a stage exposure to all kids and encouraged staff with his words. Guest of Honour Dr. Hamidullah Bhat, Chairman India Shiksha Mission, and Balwant Thakur, Regional Director Indian Council for Cultural Relations praised the efforts by Director and Managing Committee of Shemrock International. Vote of thanks was presented by Director Shemrock International School "Bharti Bhardwaj". |
