Jammu, Feb 23: In order to create awareness about traffic rules among general public, Police today organised a traffic awareness camp at Kud in which drivers, Sarpanch, Panch, and prominent citizens of the surrounding area participated. During the programme the general public of the area especially local youth were educated about the traffic rules. They were informed to abide by the traffic rules and regulations so that increasing number of road accidents could be avoided. They were also asked to wear helmets while driving two wheelers.They said that road accident can be escaped by following rules. Public of the area highly appreciated the role of police in organizing such traffic awareness programme and requested the police to organize similar programme in feature also. |
