Irate over doctor's absence, protestors ransack PHC Pargwal

Jammu, Feb 23 : Following death of a road accident victim allegedly due to absence of doctor, locals ransacked the Public Health Centre (PHC) Pargwal and disrupted vehicular traffic for hours. As per report, a youth identified as Mohan Lal alias Monu son of Gian Chand of Pargwal received injuries after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a wall of petrol pump in Pargwal and he was shifted to PHC Pargwal for treatment. Protesting locals and relatives of the deceased alleged that when Monu was shifted to PHC Pagrwal there was no doctor present in the hospital causing death of Monu. Protestors ransacked the building of Health Centre and an ambulance. The protestors were pacified after senior police officers intervened.
