'Vacant posts being referred to recruitment agencies'

JAMMU, Feb 23: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma on behalf of Minister for Health today informed the House that health department is providing health care facilities to the people in South Kashmir through a network of health institutions including 3 district hospitals, 14 sub-district hospitals, 115 Primary Health Centers and 358 Sub-Centers.
Minister was replying to a Calling Attention Notice by Dr. B. A. Veeri in the House today. Minister said that one District Hospital and one Mother and Child Care Hospital is catering to the health care needs of the people including those from Banihal, Kishtwar and Wardwan. He said these health institutions are equipped with adequate staff and machinery.
He further informed that vacancies have been referred to concerned recruiting agencies and the vacant posts will be filled up as and when the selection processes gets completed.
