| Mystery shrouds over youth's death in Kishtwar, family suspects murder | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 29: As the police is investigating the mysterious death of Kishtwar youth whose body was found in GGM Science College Jammu Cricket ground near Tawi under 174 CrPC, but the family members are suspecting a murder.
For inept, Police Station Nawabad on Friday, following an information about the body of 25 year old youth lying in GGM Science College Jammu Cricket ground near Tawi rushed to the spot and took custody of the body. During investigation Police identified dead as Amit Kotwal s/o Satpal Kotwal of Kotwal Mohallah Kishtwar, Meanwhile the body of youth was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu where a board of doctors conducted the autopsy upon the body found under mysterious circumstances.
After the autopsy conducted and other legal formalities the body was handed over to the family members today afternoon which left for Kishtwar to perform last rites of as per rituals.
Police has registered a case and started investigations under section 174 CrPC but the family members of deceased suspected that the youth has been murdered. Police however have maintained that the claims of the family members are being looked into and further added that the autopsy report of the deceased which is awaited holds key to take on lead in the investigations. |
