| Kavigoshthi held at Kathua | | | Kathua, Mar 29: Prasar Bharti, Bhartiya Lok Sewa Prasarak, Aakashvani Kathua organized a multilingual Kavi-Goshthi 'Kavita Pravah' at Vivekananda College of Education, here on Saturday. According to press release, the Goshthi was presided over by the Programme Head SK Shrivastava. PL Choudhary father of late Sunil Choudhary a recipient of Kirti Chakar award at the age of twenty six years was the Chief Guest of the occasion whereas Dr. Anju Sharma Principal Vivekananda College of Education was the Guest of honour. In the starting of programme there was lightening of the lamp by the Chief Guest escorted by guest of honour followed after there was Sarswati Vandana by the students of the College. Welcoming the Chief Guest, Guest of honour and invited poets SK Shrivastava said that by holding events like 'Kavita Pravah" is to provide a platform to literary figures for expressing their ideas thus promoting mutual understanding between people of different thought patterns. Addressing the gathering Chief Guest said that the flow of activities that has been unleashed by Aakashvani Kathua is good as it would go a long way in promoting productive literary discourse. Speaking on the occasion Guest of honour Dr. Anju Sharma appreciated the activities of the Aakashvani Kathua for enthusiasm shown by it in order to develop the multilingual literary activities by organizing such type of day to day programmes like 'Kavita Pravah". Eminent poets who recited their poetic collections during three-hour long event include Dharamveer, Padha, S. Hujara Singh, Khajoor Singh, Gopal Sharma, TR Sumbria and Vijay Sharma.
