Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 24 (JNF): The Work in the High Court Jammu Wing as well as District Court Jammu remain affected today on third day due to non appearance of the Advocates in protest against assault on Advocate Harshvardhan by the police cops. In press-conference While rejecting the statement of SSP, Jammu, Sr Adv MK Bhardwaj President of the J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu stated that the stand of the police to hold an inquiry by any independent agency vindicates its stand that the erring officials need to be disassociated from the inquiry by placing them under suspension which is pre requisite for any independent and impartial inquiry. Bar Associations of Districts and Muffasils also suspended work in Courts while showing solidarity with the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu against the unfortunate incident.
