SRINAGAR, Apr 25: The Director Tourism, Talat Parvez (KAS) has violated the Moral Code of Conduct by ordering transfer of Tourist Officer Pahalgam vide order No 193 DTK of 2014 dated 24 April, 2014.
The order reads: "The officer shall report to headquarter (TRC, Srinagar) immediately and exclusively look after development of tourist villages under the supervision of deputy-Director Tourism, Central. She is relieved of the post of Tourist officer Pahalgam.
Consequently the powers of registration for the tourist areas of Pahalgam, Shopian and Kulgam districts delegated in favour of Rubeena Shaheen Tourist Officer Vide Order No 360 DTK dated 13.1.2013 are hereby withdrawn and conferred upon Tariq Husain Naik Assistant Director Pahalgam/e-governance."
Rubeena, it has been reliably learnt imposed fine on people involved in illegal constructions at Pahalgam recently. The action, it seems has not gone down well with the senior officer. |
