Jammu, Apr 25: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad held a strong demonstration outside the Jammu University main gate and burned the effigy of Vice-Chancellor, Jammu University, Prof. M.P.S.Ishar in continuance of the on-going protests against the blind and dictatorial administration of Jammu University and demanded the immediate roll back of steep hike in hostel fee. The students were led by Aswani Sharma president ABVP Jammu university raising slogans against the Vice Chancellor.While speaking on the occasion Ashwani Sharma said that almost more than one month has passed since it raised the issue but the time again and again they were disappointed by the Vice Chancellor's attitude towards their demands.
This shows the dictatorship of Vice Chancellor and as a result they were compelled to resort to agitiative means to get their demands fulfilled. Amit Kumar (vice president ABVP, JU) also addressed the media and condemned the rude and adamant behaviour of the Vice Chancellor towards the students' issues.
