Vinod calls on DDC, demands fixation of bricks rate 4/29/2014 10:40:57 PM Early Times Report SAMBA, Apr 29: President, Youth Congress Samba Assembly segment, Vinod Kumar today called on District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba, RK Verma. On the occasion, Vinod Kumar presented a memorandum to DDC Verma regarding the excess rate of bricks in District Samba. Kumar informed the DDC that there is no fixation of rates for bricks in District Samba and the owner of brick kilns charged rate for brick as per their choice. Kumar alleged that most of the brick kilns are charging excess rate which is very high than the government rates adding that nobody has bothered to take action against them and fix the rate. He urged the DDC to take strong action against the erring brick kilns owners.
