The attribution of the imminent danger looming on the visitors directly goes to the concerned PWD as notwithstanding of tall claims, the department has yet to taken cognizance in this matter i.e. the due repairs of the said Building Complex. The building was constructed under able guidance of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and various steps were taken keeping in view comfort of the travelers from India to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and vice versa, however, all these comforts dashed to ground and visitors here often were seen 'critical' of administration and government for failure to manage the affairs of the place which is a 'window/first impression' to the visitors from PoK. Sources with the department told that sadly enough, four bathrooms constructed within the complex had no water tap, the generator provided at the centre often is dry as diesel supposed to be provided by PWD is supplied occasionally, and all this forces visitors to stand in a queue for hours. Talking to the Early Times, custodian of Cross LoC Trade, Basher Ahmed Lone said that many a times PoK visitors complaint of the inconvenience at this Immigration Centre Chakan da Bagh . "And taking cognizance, I had communicated the same to the DC Poonch, he said while adding, " we are waiting for formal response from the concerned higher authorities."
