Jammu, Apr 29: Kuldeep Kumar Rao, an active member of All J&K Movement for Peace & Justice, has strongly condemned Farooq Abdullah's remarks on Narendra Modi. He said that the recent speeches of the NC leaders in Srinagar are nothing but aimed at instigating hatred and communal conflicts in India. Rao has expressed great surprise & shock over the latest political campaign frenzy leaving the most important issues of public interest with regard to corruption, black money, rice rise, adulteration, use of pesticides, germicides & chemical spreading cancer in the country & unemployment etc at the back foot & instead the emotive & provocative issues like Art. 370. Afzal Guru, Pakistan, riots of 1984 & 2002 simply to woo the voters of a particular section of the society and are being raised in electronic & print media vociferously to mislead the whole country men in general & J&K state in particular. This is likely to lay its dangerous impact on the society and seriously damage the tenets of our secular credentials & democracy. He appealed the voters to reject all such leaders & political parties who are day in & day out busy in polarizing the society in the name of religion, region, casteism even using the religious heads to muster the votes & mislead the whole society, in the ongoing Lok Sabha election so that such elements are taught a lesson. |
