JAMMU, May 25: Police today claimed to have busted a nexus of pilferage of cement meant for government supply with the arrest of two persons and recovery of 55 bags from their possession.
"The 55 bags of government cement which was purportedly issued for developmental works of various panchayats of BDO RS Pura were recovered from Bishamber Dass Gorkha son of Gian Chand of Chak Talib, Sarpanch and Kastori Ram son of Bishnu Ram of Chak Talib, RS Pura , who had allegedly procured it for personal works for getting illegal benefits," police sources said.
The catch was made by SHO RS Pura Jai Paul Sharma and accordingly a case FIR No. 110/14 u/s 409/411 stands registered at P/S RS Pura. |
