No respite from cold in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 25 : There was still no respite from the cold weather conditions, though sun appeared brightly in the morning in the valley, where dry weather is predicted during the next 24 hours. People continued to wear woollen and warm cloths because of cold. Tourists were seen purchasing jackets and other warm cloths, covering themselve because of cold. However, yesterday the maximum temperature was 25.9 degrees Celsius crore, a notch above normal in Srinagar. A Met department spokesman said weather will remain mainly dry in the state during the next 24 hours. There will be no large change during the subsequent four days, he said. He said in Srinagar, the sky will be partly cloudy tomorrow when the maximum and minimum will be near normal tomorrow
