| 3 receive burn injuries | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 25: Three persons including a woman received burn injuries at different places in separate incidents. Police sources said that a 35 year-old man around 90 percent burn injuries when a cooking stove burst at his residence in Kathua area. The injured has been identified as Mang Ram son of Beeru Ram of Kathua. Police said that he was busy in the kitchen when suddenly the cooking stove burst resulting injuries to him. He was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kathua and after preliminary treatment he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where doctors stated that he had received 90 percent burns. Meanwhile, a woman received burn injuries at her residence in Sarore. The injured identified as Geeta (26) wife of Kamaljeet Sharma of Sarore Bari Brahmana. Police sources said that she was shifted to GMC&H by her relatives who said that she received injuries due to leakage of LPG gas at her residence. In Rajbagh area, an old man received burn injuries at his residence in Rajbagh. The injured have been identified as Des Raj (70) son of Majeet Ram of Rajbagh. He was shifted to GMCH by his relatives. Police said that all the cases have been registered and further investigation is on. |
