Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 25 : If army sources as well as security agencies are to be believed, terrorists are planning to intrude from different locations across Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri town to destabilize the peace in Indian subcontinent. Some areas in Rajouri town like Krishna Ghati, Sabjian (in Poonch district) and in Tarkundi, Kaskancha, Keri sectors are suspected to be vulnerable for the movements of these terrorists. "All necessary arrangements have been made in both the border districts of Poonch and Rajouri to foil all attempts of these outfits. As for as LoC is concerned army is on alert to foil intrusion bid" said Ashok Kumar Attri, DIG Police Rajouri-Poonch range. As the ISI, Pakistan army and Lashker commanders have badly failed to push the terrorists from traditional routes and hence their further attempts to make forced intrusion bids have also met the same fate in the hands of alert Indian soldiers, the members of Border Action Teams (BAT) have been seen moving in the forward areas. Pertinently, In Keri sector, during last week the BAT members had planted an Improvised Explosive Device on the path being used by the Patrol party of the Sikh unit near Topa post. But the timely detection by the Indian soldiers had diverted a major tragedy. |
