| PDP to come up to expectations of people: Hamid Choudhary | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 25: Appreciating people of Jammu and Kashmir State for pinning their hopes in the leadership of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed by electing People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti and party stalwarts Muzafer Hussain Beig and Tariq Hamid Karra in recently concluded Lok Sabha polls, party Co-ordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that PDP is all destined to come up to the expectations of people of all three regions of the state. In his statement, Hamid Choudhary said that during campaigns ruling elite had predicted complete wipe out of PDP but reverse trend and people's faith in the party have silences those power hungry voices. PDP, he said was floated by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to give people a viable alternative to corrupt and inefficient forces. People on the other hand proved that very perception right by banking upon PDP and sending thee credible MPs from Srinagar to the Parliament. The senior PDP leader hoped that similar kind of battle of ballots would also be fought in coming assembly elections and forces inimical to peace and progress would be made to step down. He said the state had already lost more than five and half years of peace and progress because of inept people ruling the roost and now time has come to repeat history of 2002 wherein PDP had scripted history of golden era of Jammu and Kashmir State. |
