| Dogra elected as president Ambedkar Educational Society | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 27: Tej Ram Dogra has been unanimously elected as new president for Bharat Rattan Dr B.R Ambedkar Educational Society, Bari Brahmana J&K along with 10 other office bearers for next term of three years in office. In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Prof Sanjay Karlupia outgoing president of the society on other day at Dr BR Ambedkar Bhawan Bari Brahmana Samba J&K, the members discussed various issues related to down trodden society and elected new body for next term of office. Other members elected to the new body included Kasturi Lal as General Secretary; Dr Paras Ram Angral as Sr Vice President; Capt Bachan Lal Lakhotra and Chaman Lal Chaman both as Vice President; Manoj Meenia (Manu) as Secretary; Raj Kumar Kaith and Sukhdev Thapa both as Organising Secretary; Darshan Thapa as Press Secretary; Bhagat Krishan Lal as Jt. Secretary and Girdhari Gorkha as treasurer. During meeting the members were apprised that the society is spreading message and teaching of Dr Ambedkar and is helping children of weaker section of society at its own. |
