Authorities fix fare for Amarnath yatra starting from June 28

Srinagar, May 30 : Jammu and Kashmir state Authorties have fixed the fare for the light vehicles and mini buses which will run from Nunwan to Chandanwari and Sonamarg to Baltal. An official spokesman said today, in view of the ensuing Shri Amarnath Yatra 2014, commencing from June 28, Transport Commissioner and chairman state transport authority, Srinagar has fixed the fare for the light vehicles and Mini Buses which will ferry pilgrims from Nunwan to Chandanwari and Sonamarg to Baltal. In this connection, the passenger fare for Mini Buses from Nunwan to Chandanwari, the last motorable halting station on traditional Pahalgam route has been fixed Rs 90 per passenger. He said the fare for Taxi and Maxi Cabs (Petrol) for Nunwan to Chandanwari and Sonamarg to Baltal has been fixed Rs 195 per passenger and the rate for Taxi and Maxi Cabs (Diesel) which will run for the both two routes has been fixed Rs 100 per passenger.
