| Nago, former Jail Supdt bailed in Supari Killing Case | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 30: 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Nighat Sultana today granted bail to Choudhary Nagar Singh, Mirza Saleem Beigh then Supdt Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal and his PSO Surinder Kumar in much publicized alleged Supari Killing case. According to case during investigation Suresh Kumar alias Tunda and accused Akram Khan, Jatinder Kumar alias Bilu both residents Nowshera had disclosed that for killing of Sudershan Singh Wazir, Jagar Singh had paid advance Rs 50,000 through Surinder Singh alias Shantu. The main Challan was presented on January 29, 2011 and seeking General Arrest Warrants against Sunny Choudhary u/s 512 CrPC. Later he was arrested by the Jhajjar Kotli Police under 3/25 Arms Act. During investigation Sunny Choudhary disclosed that when he was in Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal Jammu he contacted through an employee of Jail namely Surinder Kumar who introduced with Nagar Singh who was also in the central Jail at that time where accused Saleem Beigh was Supdt. Accused Nagar Singh asked Sunny Choudhary to kill Sudershan Singh Wazir who is active in the Amandeep Murder and the deal was cracked for Rs 50 lacs. Surinder Kumar told that he had got Rs 50 lacs out of which 15 lac in the presence of Saleem Beigh and Harmeet Singh was paid to Sunny Choudhary as advance. 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Nighat Sultana today after hearing Sr. Advocate RS Thakur, Advocates RK Kotwal and Vikukash Anand appearing for the petitioners whereas APP KA Qazi appearing for the state granted bail to the applicants and ordered to be released subject to that they furnishing surety and personal bond to the tune of Rs 1 lac each to the satisfaction of this Court with the condition that they shall not leave the jurisdiction of Jammu District prior permission of this Court, the applicants shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts or the case so as to dissuade him to disclose such fact to the court or to any other authority. Court further said that they shall remain present in the court on every date of hearing and also directed applicants that they shall surrender their passport. —JNF |
