Jammu, May 30: Crime Branch, Jammu has produced challan in case FIR No. 23/2011 u/s 420,465,467,468,471, 120-B,201 RPC P/S Crime Branch, Jammu against the accused persons namely Lt. Col. (Rtd) Rajeshwar Singh Pathania S/o Kan Singh R/o Village Jachh Post Wazrian Jasur District Kangra Himachal Pradesh). A/P H. No. 80-B Sainik Colony, Jammu and Late. Chander Udhay Singh S/o Late Brig. Faquir Singh R/o 136 Dogra Hall, Jammu (expired) before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jammu today.
The accused in connivance with his sister-in-law Usha Khosla W/o Lt. Jagatjeet Singh Khosla R/o 111-B Sainik Colony, Jammu fraudulently obtained fake Permanent Resident Certificate in his favour vide file No. 840 dated 20th Feb. 1960 issued by the then Tehsildar Nowshara and on the basis of this fake PRC, the said Lt. Col. Rajeshwar Singh had managed to get plot No. 80-B at Sainik Colony, Jammu registered in his name by way of sale deed, whereas he originally belonged to Village Ladori District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. It was further alleged in the compliant that Usha Khosla managed to obtained fake PRC in favour of Lt. Col. Rajeshwar Singh through her father late Chander Udhay Singh who was Tehsildar Nowshara in year 1960.
The accused presented fake PRC to Sainik Cooperative House Building Society alongwith other Documents including an affidavit mentioning therein that he is a permanent resident of J&K State, to get allotment of a plot No. 80-B situated at Sainik Colony, Jammu on his name which otherwise according to Bye Laws of Sainik Cooperative House Building Society can be allotted to the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir only.
He further managed to get registered the said plot on his name in the court of Sub-Registrar Municipal Magistrate, Jammu on 18.04.2002 which clearly establishes that accused Rajeshwar Singh Pathania was in possession of the fake PRC at the time of allotment of the plot, however noticing that Crime Branch is investigating the matter, the said PRC was destroyed by him. |
