| NPSU continues stir against "Gunda elements in JU", JKNPP supports | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 29 : Led by Sardar Chanderpal Singh, National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) today lodged protest demonstration at Satwari against the intervention of some "Gunda elements in the Jammu University" affairs. Meanwhile the National Panthers Party has also supported the cause of NPSU as recently the State President of the NPSU; Partap Singh Jamwal was attacked within University premises by such elements for organizing a student related activity in the campus. Shankar Singh Chib, Provincial General Secretary, JKNPP highly condemned the Jammu university administration for absorbing and allowing these elements within the campus. He said these influential touts are well aware of the loopholes of some faculty members as well as the administration as a whole and hence to avoid the same, these people have been either adjusted in the varsity or allowed to create any propaganda against any student body. The agitating student leaders said that some professors of the varsity are also cooperating with these touts to denigrate the affairs of the varsity. Pertinently, on May 21 an active student leader of National Panther Student Union (NPSU) Partap Singh Jamwal, was attacked by two student of Law department of Jammu University near old vice Chancellor's chamber and the same sparked series of protests against the varsity administration. |
