| Yashpal Sharma's elevation to strengthen PDP: Hamid Choudhary | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 30: People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and party Coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary has hailed the decision of party chief, Mehbooba Mufti to elevate Yashpal Sharma as General Secretary of the party. In his statement, Hamid Choudhary said that Yashpal Sharma possesses qualities of a statesman who can lead the party well.
"Sharma also enjoys a good rapport within common masses which certainly will give PDP a shot in the arm in general and in assembly elections particularly. Appreciating the decision of party high command i.e. Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Party chief Mehbooba Mufti, Choudhary Hamid extended his full cooperation to Yashpal Sharma in carrying out party activities. He also urged party workers to strengthen the hands of Yashpal Sharma and expedite party activities in wake of coming assembly elections. "PDP, under able guidance of Mufti Sayeed has displayed remarkable victory in recently concluded Lok Sabha polls and it is hoped that hard work put in during next few months would also generate similar results in assembly elections as well, said Choudhary Hamid. |
