Jammu girls, Udhampur boys win U-14 titles Inter-district badminton tourney of DYSS 5/30/2014 11:48:13 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, May 30: Jammu girls and Udhampur boys bagged the under-14 titles in the inter-district state level badminton tournament, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), here today. In girls final, Jammu defeated district Budgam 2-0. The Results: Naman Mansotra bt Rhytham. Doubles: Naman and Bhavani bt Falak Nawaz and Rhytham. The boys' title went to district Srinagar after they outplayed district Udhampur. 2-0. The Results: Aamil bt Ritik Anand. Doubles: Aamil and Sadiq bt Saiyam Sharma and Ritik Anand. Third place in under-14 boys' category claimed by district Jammu beating Rajouri district. In boys' under-17 final, Udhampur trounced district Srinagar 2-0. The Results: Kanishk bt Adam. Doubles: Kanishk and Harsh Mahajan bt Harsh Mahajan and Adam and Marij. Meanwhile, the girls' under-17 trophy claimed by host Jammu district. In the final, played today, Jammu downed district Kathua.
