Early Times Reports Jammu, June 20: J&K Statistical Non Gazetted Employees Association (JKSNGEA) Friday called upon Director General, Economics and Statistics (DG-E&S) RA Bandey at Bemina Srinagar and appealed him to take necessary steps to address the issues of urgent nature at an earliest. A delegation of JKSNGEA under the chairmanship of president PS Jamwal, met RA Banday and urged him to take necessary action for redressal fo their long pending demands. During the meeting the delegation highlighted demands which include creation of welfare fund for Planning and Statistical cadre, removal of pay anomalies of JSAs and SAs, DPC of I/C SO's, SAs and JSAs, promotion of SOs to ADs, SAs to SOs, quasi permanent orders of JSAs, SAs & SOs and training of JSAs, refresher course for SOs instead of examination. Other demands discussed during this meeting included vigilance clearance of the officers/officials who are likely to be promoted well in advance, re-designation of SOs, SAs and JSAs as Planning & Statistical officer, Planning and Statistical Assistant and Planning Assistant, disposal of in-situ promotions cases, regularization of consolidated /Casual/daily wagers who have completed 7 year of service. Banday gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that all the demands projected by the Association would be addressed at an earliest. |
