PDP stages protest for conceding demand in toto 6/21/2014 12:21:23 AM Early Times Report Samba, June 20: Expressing resentment against the government move to grant backward status to just nine villages of Samba against the demand of 50, the locals under the banner of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held massive demonstration at Nudh, here today. Protestors blocked vehicular movement on Samba-Mansar road amid sloganeering. They were demanding backward status to all the deserving villages for their social and economic betterment.The protest was led by the district president of PDP's SC/ST/OBC wing, Sunny Sangral. The people raised slogans against the state government and the local MLA who failed to plead the case of deserving villages before the government.
