KISHTWAR, June 20: Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar Pawan Dev Kotwal today acquitted two accused in a forgery case as prosecution fails to prove the charges during almost eight years of trial in court, while 3rd accused who was also acquitted by the court today died during the trial of the case. As per the details available with "Early Times", the complainant Kunj Lal son of Shib Dayal resident of Piyalan Nagsini, Kishtwar filed a complaint before the police wherein complainant alleged that Tara Chand son of Daulat Ram along with Hari Singh son of Kekar Singh and Dewan Chand son of Inder Singh, all residents of Piyalan Nagsini register a false will on the name of Shib Dayal on November 22, 2006 by producing an impersonator instead of him (Shib Dayal) who actually died on November 9, 2006 almost 10 days prior to the registration of will in court favouring Hari Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Sandeep Kumar all sons of Kikar Singh and grandsons of the deceased. On the bases of complaint, Kishtwar police registered FIR No. 250/2006 U/S 467/468/419/420/109 RPC and produce the challan in the court. During the course of the trial, after hearing the prosecution and defense council Advocate Sandeep Gupta and Rajesh Sharma, beside cross examination of five witnesses by the court of Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar and after going through the evidences led by the prosecution held that due to prosecution failure, the case is not proved against the accused persons as such all the accused are acquitted. |
