Jammu, June 20: Gujjar Bakerwal Students Federation (GBSF) demanded the immediate functioning of already sanctioned PG Boys hostel for Gujjar-Bakerwal students in meeting held here today. As per press release, members of the GBSF said that we had been struggling from several years for the functioning of Gujjar Bakerwal PG hostel and expressed concern over the poor condition of other hostels at district level. They said that the majority of the community students are financially weak and can't afford expensive accommodations outside Jammu University. They alleged that the funds allocated by Union Tribal Ministry are being mis-utilized by the concerned authorities. Others who were present in the meeting included Maqbool Bajjar, Azhar Choudhary, Tauseef Ahmed and many others. |
