Jammu, Jun 20: All J&K RET Teachers Forum has hailed the Government decision for inclusion of 5 years RET period for seniority (promotion) benefits and provision of transfer policy for regularized RET Teachers. While speaking in a press conference at Jammu, state President RET Teachers' Forum Vinod Sharma on behalf of RET Teachers thanked the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and all the cabinet Ministers for their kind approach to resolve these genuine demands. Sharma said that these were the most genuine demands of the Forum and by conceding them the Govt. has shown a sympathetic approach towards RETs like other employees. Meanwhile RET Teachers' Forum has condemned the move of some of the permanent teachers who are criticizing the Govt. for the Inclusion of 5 years RET period for seniority. He said that instead of appreciating the Govt. decision they are criticizing it. He further said that RET Teachers have given 5 years service at Rs 1500 per month and made the government policy successful by raising literacy rate, opening closed schools in far-flung areas, increasing enrolment and decreasing dropout rate. Those who were present included Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Subash Chander, Manzoor Khan, Ravinder Chib, Navjot Singh and Surjeet Singh. |
