Jammu, July 3: As a part of ongoing campaign for forthcoming Assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate from Jammu East Constituency, Bharat Chowdary along with other senior leaders visited Chand Nagar area.
During the visit locals of Chand Nagar apprised PDP leaders that the scenario of sanitation is very poor in whole downtown of Jewel & Chand Nagar area.
Speaking on the occasion, Bharat Choudary that he will took the demands with all concerned authorities and will also launch an agitation if the issue will not solve in time bound manner. He further said that PDP will fight for each and every problem of Jammu East Constituency under the leadership of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and President Mehbooba Mufti. Meantime Vikram Singh Dist Vice President PDP Jammu appeals the locals to vote and support Bharat Chowdhary in upcoming assembly election and make him victorious from Jammu East Constituency for betterment of Jammu.
Earlier locals apprised that when rain came; the whole downtown is choked with dirty water of drains as authorities failed to clean the drains on proper time and the overflowing sewage enters into the houses of local making them prone to various diseases. The locals also aspired visiting PDP leader about unsafe drinking water and unscheduled power cuts adding to their miseries. PDP leader and contesting candidate from Jammu East Bharat Choudary assured them to take up matter to concerned authorities.
