According to press release, S Tejinder Singh Advocate, who will be fighting state assembly elections from Tangmarg constituency in Kashmir, which is presently represented by Gulam Hassan Mir, has appealed to the Prime Minister Narinder Modi to order thorough probe into the highly authentic allegations of Gulam Hassan Mir getting a bribe of Rs 1.19 Crore to topple the duely elected government headed by Omar Abdullah, in which GH Mir is a Cabinet Minster. These allegations have been implicitly endorsed by the former Indian Army Chief General V K Singh. Tejinder Singh rued that despite all the hue and cry raised by him and some other lovers of democracy in J&K over the foul play by Gulam Hassan Mir who took money from Defence funds for toppling the government in which he is a cabinet minister, no action has been taken either by the out gone UPA government in the centre, or by the state NC- Congress government in the state. |
