Sensational murder case worked out, 'psycho' held for killing his son

Jammu, July 3: Police today claimed to have worked out with the arrest of a psycho killer - the father of the deceased and main accused in sensational murder case of Kuldeep Kumar of Pinger in Ramnagar of Udhamputr district.
Police spokesperson sharing details, said that on June 16, a body was brought by Kali Dass who narrated that his Son has been killed by un-known persons at Sub-District Hospital Ramnagar.
Accordingly, Police started Inquest proceedings U/S 174/Cr.PC and collected evidences from all possible perspectives.
"The leads developed during the course of enquiry led to the expression of a sensational story, police said adding, "the investigations revealed that Kuldeep Kumar was killed by his father himself namely Kali Dass who is a typical 'psychopath'.
"Accused Kali Dass has beaten his son to death for his visit to the house of a relative namely Behari Lal without his consent, police said adding, "accordingly, the Inquest proceedings vide FIR No.53/2014 was converted into a murder case U/S 302/RPC and investigation taken up."
Police said that during investigations it was found that Kali Dass (accused) during his childhood had killed his 03 month old younger brother which though remained un-reported to the police authorities. "Thereafter in the year, 1998 accused Kali Dass also killed his 08 year old daughter and was arrested at P/S Ramnagar vide FIR No.79/98 U/S 302/RPC, police said and added, "accused was convicted by the court of Sessions Judge Udhampur and remained in Jail for 10 years."
"In the year 2008, he came out of Jail and started living his life but in the year 2013, the accused again indulged in an act of violence and chopped off ear of his younger son over some minor issue, police spokesperson said.
"He also had tried to kill his daughter by chasing her with axe who managed to escape and took shelter in some other village for 15 days and the present act of accused is fourth one to cause damage to his family on account for sake of false honour and ego.
"The accused shall be challaned within shortest possible time, police said and added that a case has been worked out due to sincere and tireless efforts of SDPO Ramnagar and SHO P/S Ramnagar.
